I love the design of well made cars. Cars with subtle curves—tiny minute details that many people miss, but someone designed with purpose and intentionality. Details are what gives a car personality—and its the small details that I find interesting to photograph. Great design is like that: it’s beautiful on the surface, but on a further inspection you notice all the subtle little details that someone somewhere (probably working late into the night) thought about. (Poor design in my opinion is just the opposite— the closer you look, the more you realize no one was paying attention to those details)
It doesn’t hurt that I also like to drive those beautiful works of art too. (You can see where my son Ezra get’s that from).
This weekend, using some new techniques I’ve been working on, I was able to capture this 2009 Corvette Z06. It’s got some beautiful lines, and cool and subtle details that I’d never noticed before. Enjoy!
Got a cool car you want us to photograph? Get in touch.
It would be nice to have my 2013 GS 4LT Photographed before she gets old and starts showing signs of road rash. At least the car will life forever on the internet for all to enjoy. The ZO-6 shown here is one beautiful machine. My sons Velocity Yellow
2007 ZO-6 inspires me every time I see it.
